Sunglass thievery.

So... I have noticed that recently, I have developed a love for sunglasses. I think it's because I drive now. (Although I may have to rethink this theory, as Wil owns and wears sunglasses, but does not drive at all.) Recently, I have bought three pairs of sunglasses that I love.

They are...

My 'mirrors on your face' glasses:
The name is pretty dang self-explanatory. They're like mirrors... only you wear them on your face.

My 'these sunglasses are more like cute safety glasses' glasses:

These really are quite useless as sunglasses. But they're cute so I wear them anyways. Yeah... that's what being a girl is all about. Cute, pointless sunglasses.

My 'I love these sunglasses more than my cat' glasses:
These are my oldest sunglass friends. They have been with me for longer than any other sunglasses and have helped me block the sun out of my life on countless occasions. Although I don't actually have a cat, I'm pretty sure I would not love it as much as I love these glasses if I did. Sorry Cat.

Now you may be asking yourself, "Nataly, what on earth do all of these sunglasses have to do with thievery? You didn't steal them, did you?!?" No, I did not. My problem is that they are repeatedly stolen by someone who really should not have a need to steal my sunglasses. This person is my mother. She has owned many more pairs of sunglasses than I have over her life, as she has been driving for much longer and therefore had much more of a need for them. Still, she manages to lose her sunglasses CONSTANTLY. She has stolen every single pair of sunglasses that I own at some point in time, causing my irrational fear that she will lose my sunglasses. This must stop! I cannot live in this state of terror. SUNGLASS THIEVERY IS EVIL, PEOPLE!!!

Let's stop it, shall we?

Yeah, that is a winky face. I know it looks like I'm closing both eyes. But I'm not...

 Random side-note: I smell campfire. O.o

To Work or Not to Work...

So, I started a job now. I'm a waitress at a Mexican restaurant (Wil, you can stop laughing now. It's still not funny). And I'm kind of hating it. I mean, I guess I'm figuring it out a little better now, but it's still difficult trying to juggle a job along with school, friends, family, sleep and church. The first week however, was possibly the most difficult of my life. I worked four days in a row, and had to close one day, which meant I stayed at work until almost eleven. That was incredibly difficult for me. But this week feels hopeful. I only work two days and I'm only closing one of those days, which is Wednesday. Wednesday is an EXCELLENT day for closing, since it's so slow. I'll be able to start closing a little bit early and get out of there a little earlier. So maybe I'll survive work now. We'll see. :\

Also, I don't have to be bummed about missing either the football game on Friday or my cousin's quince. I'll be able to make it to both. :D

Vegas Rant

This is my darling cousin Tanya:
She is a mere 14 years old. Granted, she'll be 15 in a month. But you get my point. She is still a very young grasshopper. (BTW, I drew that picture in like half a minute. In real life, she looks much different.)

These are the gaping holes that she has added to her face for some bizarre reason:
I am told they are called 'snake bites'. I have come to the conclusion that it is because they are poisonous to your soul, or something like that. They are plugged up with these little weapon-like semi-circles that look something like this:
Now, last time I checked, stuff that is that vicious is not supposed to be kept in your face. Your face is for talking and eating and the such. Not for miniature weapon storage.

Anyways, the point I'm trying to make is that I miss the innocent little cousin that existed about a year ago. She was cute. She was one of my best friends. I liked her. Now, it feels like there's a stranger living in my aunt's house, and it breaks my heart to see it. Her and her sister are like younger siblings to me. And now I don't even know her. Stupid Vegas is corrupting the little ones. :(

On a totally unrelated note... I saw this guy:
While in Vegas. I kid you not, he was wearing bright pink short shorts with flowers on them. It was possibly the most hilariously disturbing sight that I have ever had the (mis)fortune to encounter. Now, in case you cannot read my small hand-written captions, they read from top to bottom:
1. (Manly) Blue striped button-up shirt?
2. Hot Lady Lips
3. PINK FLOWER SHORTS
4. Knees.

Notice that his knees are much farther away from the bottom of his shorts than any knees have the right to be. It was rather terrifying. As if seeing bare girl legs all weekend wasn't enough, this guy had to join the party. But hey, at least he gave me something to rant about.

Homecoming. :)

So... obviously, I'm a nerd. And Wil is too, so for homecoming, I had to answer him in the nerdiest way possible. I made him a cake that looked like a Pokeball. I have to say, it was pretty epic. Although I can't say it was completely spherical. Hahaha.

Basically, it's the proudest I've ever been of one of my creations.
And yet again... I am a NERD.

I'm a Nerd :D

Hmmm... so today was way too exciting for the lack of stuff that actually happened. We went to McDonald's for lunch and Wil got FIFTY freaking chicken nuggets. lol. It was insane.

And web page design is freaking RAD. I kinda know a little bit of HTML now. I'm so proud of myself! :D Pretty much all of my pages are in rainbow. I made one that was like this...
<HTML>
<BODY>
<BR><FONT COLOR="FF0066">Line</FONT COLOR>
<BR><FONT COLOR="FF9900">Line</FONT COLOR>
<BR><FONT COLOR="FFFF66">Line</FONT COLOR>

But it should be like this:

Stupid font size rules.
So basically yeah... I've been nerding out all day. :/

Just Because I'm Bored

Surprisingly, I have nothing to rant about on my blog this time. I'm just posting because I'm bored. Crazy idea, I know. Well, maybe I should specify on the whole ranting thing... I have no angry rants this time. Or... whatever. I may rant about AVPS. But that's it.
Speaking of AVPS... It. Is. AMAZING! I've only finished act 1, but I can tell it's the bomb. I have been able to tell for some time.
(AVPS, btw is A Very Potter Sequel. It's the sequel to A Very Potter Musical. Watch them. Now. If you haven't. If you have... Watch them again. Now.)
I guess the most time-consuming thing in my life now that school started is... school. Wow. Big surprise there. I can't believe it's my senior year. It's still totally surreal every time I think about it. Luckily, my senior year so far is turning out much better than my junior, sophomore and freshman years. I'm glad. It's kinda crazy cause midterms are this week and... not a single D or F. I'm pretty proud of myself. It's actually a lot easier than I thought it would be to stop slacking off all the time. Maybe I'll actually be able to have the habits necessary to survive college now. surprised
Homecoming was this weekend. I got to go with the most amazing guy ever. His name's Wil. I'm pretty much crazy about him.
So yeah... life is pretty grand right now. :)
